Champagne Couvreur-Fondeur

"Great little place, this was the absolute favourite of our stay in Rilly. Vincent, the son who will one day take over the family business, speaks perfect English and so we were able to chat easily about the champagne, grapes, harvest, and their future plans. We loved everyone of the champagnes, it was hard to pick one so we bought a selection including a decently priced Jerraboam as a Christmas treat. We didn’t book in advance but were made to feel very welcome during our tasting, and when we bought too much to carry they packaged up so we could collect in the morning when we were leaving. They can ship to the UK too. We will definitely return and feel excited to see what the next generation will bring to this fantastic champagne house. It was great to hear how two families through marriage created an even larger vineyard. A MUST VISIT, highly recommend."
